psv88
no, what was lame was my 18 today, because I got paired with some ***hole who after every shot yelled "**** I suck" and "mother ****er go right" "mother ****er go left "oh that was the worst ****ing shot I have ever hit" for 18 holes. At the end of the round, i wanted to shove a putter up his ass. Ahaha. That's me in tennis yesterday but not golf. My golf score was truly embarrassing but I didn't swear once. I did throw my pitching wedge a few times though. Also saw a lot of beetles mating on the course. Damn beetles.

Snow_Miser
Winter > Summer Spring > Fall Why do you like spring more than fall? The season where winter is the furthest away is spring, which is why it is my least favorite season of all. Autumn is the closest season to winter, which is the only reason why it is my 2nd favorite season of all.
Momza
LOL, nah, if it was you, i could handle that. This guy was a tool of the biggest degree. Not a private club? This guy wouldn't last long.

SnoSki14
I'm guessing this upcoming winter will suck, its obvious that every month is well above normal and I expect that to continue into winter, when July registers a +5 or +6, you know were screwed this winter. The only hope is another mega negative NAO and Greenland block.

Or in Accuweather's case, they say they will throw a bullseye every time. Too bad half the shots miss the board entirely.

TheTrials
the globe is on fire and getting warmer, a nino will only make that worse. Probably facing monthly departures this winter between +5 and +10, although February may only be +1 to +2 which will be an accomplishment.

Neblizzard
El Nino Signature: The -PDO should start to relax over the next several months as the Niño continues to develop. Whether it goes positive for the fall and winter is anyones guess at this point.

The only hope is another mega negative NAO and Greenland block. This post is an example of why I don't post here as much anymore. This post has absolutely no logic whatsoever. For one, normals are normals for a reason. If it was "normal" to always be six degrees above normal, the normals would be six degrees higher. Another thing is that many hot summers were followed by cold and snowy winters. Do a little homework assignment, just going off your memory, as I don't know how old you are. Go back and think of every hot summer you can think of and the winter that followed. Then tell me how many of those winters had a lot of snow and how many did not. Summer 2002 was very hot, and that following winter was pretty snowy and cold, the same is true for summer 2010 and winter 2010-11.

Brian5671
Nobody can predict winter until its over next February. It's all about the blocking. that is correct-blocking will be key--unfortunately that won't be known until 1 or 2 weeks before the pattern sets in....we'll see.
