Bust I think. Low level mesocyclones have looked impressive from time to time but none of them seem to be producing. As the discrete cells are merging into clusters and line segments the threat continues to diminish though spinups on QLCS are possible.

Seems like the 0-1km shear and low LCLs are conducive... but storms themselves seem to be having trouble maintaining long-lasting strong updrafts (marginal CAPE FTL?).

Agreed, bit more CAPE, few more hours of sunshine, should have probably seem some sustainable mesos.

I called it into LWX 2 minutes after it passed, I was too busy trying to save my ass. Rain wrapped tornado dropped right on us, getting damage pics now. Trees are snapped off halfway up, roof damage, etc.

*Relieved* to see you posting and safe

Bust in terms of 15% hatching and strong tornadoes, but still an impressive event for the region IMO. Some of the SPC "Wind" reports may turn out to be tornadoes judging by what I am reading.

The reports I've seen (I could be wrong here) have been relatively minor though. Storms have had trouble maintaining themselves and even the supercells that have developed have produced little severe weather, surprisingly.

Baltimore news says there's some serious damage around the Bel Air road area?

While responding to reports of trees down, more reports came in of collapsed structures and heavy damage - may be a little exaggerated due to the rarity of this type of storm in this area, but It looks more than straight line winds.

I'd say this is a highly accurate statement, given that Smoke said it was rain-wrapped - it looks like a lot of these cells were HP.

there was definitely some tree damage done earlier out in the Damascus and mt airy areas. whether they were from a tornado or straight line winds, not sure. but i saw video of trees on houses

Channel 13 was reporting a possible touchdown of a funnel cloud there

Yes, I was in the tornado, I'm in the middle of the damage path. Looks EF2 tops, last business I just passed had its roof off.
