Ok I just have to say I just had an experience. I went to my daughters school for her Kindergarten Celebration. Half way through at 2:15 the lights went out twice and then we were all evacuated to the halls for the Tornado warning in SE Frederick Co. Lets just say it was interesting, but went smoothly.

Glad to hear you family was safe and dodge the bullet on this round... Stay safe...

Glad it went well and everyone is safe. My wife's school is sheltering in their media center in their school in Mt. Airy. Scary situation for them.

Luckily she taught in Alabama for a few years when we lived there, so tornado warnings are nothing new for her

From LWX, structural damage reported at Rt 7 & Rt 15 in Leesburg. They are waiting on confirmation. Damage was associated with the cell that is in Damascus and behind the “tornado” cell up in Carroll County.

thats a mile and half from me, interesting, may have to ride up there now

Wow great photo Hank. Thanks for sharing this

Thanks! Luckily I had a pretty good vantage point as my office looks west, and I was just east of the cell.

Gonna be interesting to see what the storms moving up from the south can do. The one that just entered prince william seems to be weakening a bit, but plenty more to come it looks like
