brettjrob Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 Jim Cantore just showed the dual pol on the Damacus storm and it doesn't appear from that there is a tornado. A TDS can only be used to confirm a tornado, not to rule one out (even as a rule of thumb, not just in a strict/technical sense). Velocity shows a tight low-level mesocyclone extending down to at least 1500 ft. AGL so a tornado is possible at any time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
