powderfreak
It had been mentioned all along that the best dynamics were North......so no revelation here........ Must be impressive dynamics aloft because we never saw the sun today and t/td were not impressive. Right now we are getting some incredible lightning and heave heavy rain. Good line of storms right through the heart of BTVs area now.

powderfreak
Had a good strong downpour move overhead and down the Mountain Road (RT 108 to left of marker) but it weakened quickly over RT 100 near the village center. Best storms by far just ESE of BTV now.

MaineJayhawk
Portland area got spanked with that cell Yeah, I was still at work when that rolled through. Literally dark as night. I thought I might have heard hail striking the windows but was busy with a client and couldn't check it out.

I think this line could wake up some spots in SNE overnight. Prob not severe but good boomers with these things.

Just heard the first crack of thunder from it - hopefully my kayak doesn't get blown off my car.
Allenson
Some fairly rowdy storms have been rolling through here. The first one passed just to our north--caught some nice views of it and a few photos. Only a few drops of rain but a hearty gust of wind blew through. The second batch came overhead and is just past now. Had a few short downpours and some real nice wind gusts; trees bent, leaves flying but thankfully I didn't hear any (more) cracks and pops of trees falling out in the woods. Lots of thunder & lightning but no hail. The dog is freaking out as usual with all the rumbles & flashes. A rain cooled 53F now.

dendrite
Didn't notice any hail, but it was an intense 10 minutes with lots of CG strikes and uber heavy rain. In a 6 minute span I recorded 0.31" on the Davis and a 1-minute peak of 0.09". The Davis generated rain rate got up to 7.78"/hr...I think I've only topped that a couple of times.
