I have a 3 hour calc class tonight, hopefully we get nothing cause that's salt in an open wound lol

If I hear any signs of hail I'm taking a "bathroom" break. I did CPR training last year, not sure why it has to be done again this year. It's ridiculous. I haven't pissed in 12 hours, perhaps I should take potty training courses again.

I think some of those storms late day and early evening may have more wind threat...especially in SNE.

There definitely will be some strong winds and perhaps wind damage but I think in the end we see more in the way of hail reports than wind reports. Only things aligning for strong winds are inverted-v look on the sounding...while shear does increase it isn't anything spectacular aloft. What's going for the hail is the very steep mid-level lapse rates, low freezing levels, decent helicity, and 0-6km shear 30-35 knots.

Yeah shear is not quite there until late day and more like early evening. Either way, it looks decent tomorrow for storms in general. I like ern MA near 00z tomorrow night.

Tomorrow though may certainly have both as a threat...I could see something to the likes of a line developing across eastern sections (like we're seeing now) where you'll have enhanced convergence from the sea-breeze while across the rest of the region you see more single/multi-cells which pose the larger hail threat where within the line you see more of a chance for strong winds and small hail.

Hail sucks dude. I don't know why anyone cheers on hail lol. All it does is destroys cars. I had one severely damaged by hail and it was a b**ch.

Then MBY is safe, as it's consistently avoided hail while places within 5-10 miles (or less, and in all directions) have been pounded, including the monster 5 yr ago that left 7,000 acres of defoliated forest, much of which still looks raggedy.

No reports from SE CT or Rhode Island? Decent looking storms, could be dropping pea-sized hail in spots.

Cell over Narragansett bay and to the east chased us off the golf course, some lightning and brief heavy rains, more bark than bite
