I'm already crossing into Cape May County now, just trying to get another opinion. It looks like that area that gusted to 76 in Prince Georges County, will impact Cape May.

I'd say is you want potential wind, south is probably better as well. I'd think its more rain/thunder/lightning in SE PA.

With that said, I like your decision.

Head towards Cape May or wait for the stuff in PA? Thoughts guys?

safe bet would be head towards the cape. It seems the main focus for winds is along the BWI to DC area and points eastward. You might not be too bad from your hometown.

I'd go, but just got in from happy hour(s)..lol!

Looks like those cells crossing the Turnpike in Chester Co are making a b-line for Rofo/Phoenixiville area

I just heard thunder outside for the first time with these storms...can't think it will be the last lol.

Riptide, what's the best way to get down to Cape May point? I haven't been down there in a while.

Ry, you might wanna stay north of where you are. The core on the md storms is just ridiculous. But anywhere around you is a safe bet,

Take the Parkway or Route 9 south, Cape May gets pretty crazy this time of the year. I wouldn't even go that far south. You might just want to find a good spot along the Delaware Bay.
