Ocean county fire and Ems.

Lots of lightning strikes reported on houses.

Hitting cover companies from my end of the county, to go to the companies around the airport. Hopefully I won't have to leave, lol. And damn, Manahawkin is getting pounded with lightning.

Lucky you!you'll go to cover, miss a fire and miss a storm. That AC fire still going strong?

They've got it knocked, but still a lot of work. Too many EMS units to count for rehab. Still hitting engines out to go into the scene.

Power has been out for nearly my entire town for over an hour... Constant thunder right now but the rain has let up ... Spoke to a friend that lives in Manahawkin.. She said many streets flooded and impassable ... Fire sirens have been sounding continuously for hours she said ..

Does 9 usually flood out there? I may come up 9 from New Gretna, but really don't wanna be part of the problem, lol.

I've never witnessed Route 9 flooding in that area but with these storms coming out of no where it would be hard to judge ... We're getting another impressive storm as I write this lol

I think the best part of your job is pouring over spreadsheets and spreadsheets of mindless regression equations.

Every time you tweet off of your personal twitter handle you need to add a "Woo" because of the Ric Flair photo.

Looks like 12 12z 4KM id doing a good job of handling the Jersey convection. Now we shall see if it is right with enhancing storms greatly around here when the boundary meeting up with the cold front. We sometimes see crazy outcomes when this happens. Anyhow If it is right and happens could be a long evening and night.
