OSUmetstud
maybe a mini supercell near Dunkirk, NY. I think the cell is interacting the local vorticity from the lake breeze. It's a got a small hook on it.

OceanStWx
No issue with boundary layer moisture today. These dewpoints are awfully impressive, near 70 up the Canadian border.
powderfreak
walked outside with the dog and I was like "nope! We're going back in!" LOL I know the feeling. BTV has put possible TOR in the new SWS. Additional severe thunderstorms will redevelop across the north country by early this afternoon. These thunderstorms will be capable of producing hail up to 2 inches in diameter and damaging thunderstorm wind gusts to 60 mph or more. Furthermore... the potential for a brief tornado spin up will be possible... especially during the mid afternoon hours across central and northern Vermont. Typhoon Tip
Fog rolled back in thick here. What tiny, tiny chance we had for storms is gone here. Even if you weren't foggy where you are, you'd have the SSW marine indirection introducing some stability at the low levels. That said, you'll like clear mid afternoon if that is any concern. It's tough to be optimistic about anything with the slate gloomy skies of strata death sapping any joy out of the day, sure -
TalcottWx
Impressively comfortable today. Happy to say the warm front is not through here~that way I don't watch radar all day with foreign objects sticking to every inch of my body and still miss a storm. OceanStWx
Nice OFB pushing southwestward down the Maine Seacoast. Matinicus Rock gusted to 41 kts, and Portland LNB to 23 kts. That will probably reinforce the warm front in southeast NH, while the sun is breaking out behind convective debris in northern NH/VT. The RAP kind of has a handle on the nice thermodynamic environment sloshing back over these areas. I think it's a little too aggressive in how far east that makes it, but it is the right sort of evolution I think.
Wonkis
Looks like the warm front is pushing back into Worcester County, SW NH, RI. Some 90 degree reading showing up in CT and NY
Clinch Leatherwood
Looks like the warm front is pushing back into Worcester County, SW NH, RI. Some 90 degree reading showing up in CT and NY Yeah and it just got much warmer here and the sun is poking out. Marine flow stopped. Probably better for a lot of you. weatherMA
79/68 and mostly sunny here just east of ORH, still hot but not nearly as brutal as out west. I would think nothing of note will make it this far east anyway, but if it did I would be at senior commemoration starting at 6pm. If we could get a severe t-storm around 6:30 when everyone was just getting there so everyone can freak out and panic that would make my day though! Mr. Windcredible!
SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE REGION. me likey I don't even need to verify severe. Give me a couple rounds of storms with lots of thunder/lightning, heavy downpours, and gusty winds and I'm a happy camper. Hail and damaging winds would just be a bonus.
