I'm pretty exhausted too, only slept about 4 hours in the last 3 days or something. Having trouble falling asleep though :/
N. OF PIKE
The w to e motion is annoying. yes rutlalnd to say franklin,nh seems like the southern edge of severe potential for last few hours. with VT getting esp. raked over thru west central NH. weatherwiz
I can't believe some of the instability numbers still in place across NY...SBcape values still 1500 J/KG, MLcape values 1500-2000 J/KG, MUcape values 2000-3000 J/KG, LI values of -8C...nuts. Having mlvl lapse rates of 8 C/KM with ample low-level moisture will do that!
weatherwiz
All this too with no MCD or even a watch
weatherwiz
Storms advancing right along the warm front. Even though there isn't much in the way of instability where the storms are located they are forming right along the instability axis and the presence of very steep mid-level lapse rates, 35-45 knots of 0-6km shear, 0-3km helicity 350-500 m2s2 and 0-1km helicity 150-250 m2s2, and K-Index near 40 is absolutely perfect for large hailers. powderfreak
Man those look like some nice storms across NNE...lots of red entering the White Mountains.
