#NoPoles
is this going to be more of an, every now and then a cell breaks the cap, thing?
radarman
Little popcorn cell east of quabbin went from nothing to 45 dBZ to nothing in about 10 minutes time... Cap still pretty strong obviously. Here in B'town the winds have picked up quite a bit with CU nearby but so far nothing appears imminent. 82.1/72.
weatherwiz
As the s/w gets closer to us more cells should fire closer to our region, also the upstream cells could spark off new cells with their outflow. Not sure if we'll see anything widespread, we may only really see one big cluster with isolated cells out ahead of it
CoastalWx
Those cells and points east is where we might see some initiation of storms overnight. LLJ should increase a bit, especially near 06z.

CoastalWx
It's too bad we couldn't get a better s/w and stronger LLJ. That will probably limit things, but we'll see how the next 2-3 hrs go.

ct_yankee
Have to admit, parameters are looking pretty sweet right now, 3kmEHI is up to 5 in NW CT and nearby parts of NY and MA. Get something surface based in that environment and all bets are off. Edit: guess we all saw those numbers about the same time.

CoastalWx
I think in addition to those storms...have to watch VT and NH too as better shear is there for updraft maintenance. This is also where a better LLJ might spark more storms.
