Yeah I said I wouldn't be surprised to see a tornado somewhere in the northeast. Key to hit home to viewers today is areal coverage will be limited but any storms that do form could be high end severe. It's actually challenging to communicate without people taking parts of your forecast out of context.

It's amazing how often people take what mets say out of context. You mention a chance for s t'storm and some people will assume it's going to rain all day :lol:

Today is tough to convey to people though, people will think that storms being rather isolated is a good thing but all that really does is enhance the severe threat b/c you won't have storms disrupting updrafts.

I think up north we see development start off as individual cells and quickly become supercells, however, I think they may converge into a line and form a bowing line as it nears northern CT but we'll see. Have to watch for any development ahead of any line with outflow focusing as lift.
