Worst lightning storm I've ever been in. House almost hit by a CG...it knocked out part of my wx station but the power stayed on. We were in the window watching when it hit...the gf is scared ****less right now...lol. It was an awesome night show though...continuous IC CG and CC. I actually have never seen as many CC bolts in a storm here as I did tonight.

I was going to grab my camera to take some time exposures of your cell as it passed 10 miles or so south of me but got lazy. Garden variety storm here, .30" definately more rain just south. Time to finally dry out.

Looks like the southern section, west and southwest of Noho might form into a bowing segment. Less hail embedded in that part of the line, and less shear, but strong straight line winds.

I have a quarter mile walk to the car, so I'm going to take the opportunity to get out of here now.

At least you'll get a nice light show in the distance.

Didn't think I would be able to see it this far east, but pretty impressive indeed! Like fireworks going off in the next town, yet clear skies here. Think this line cuts any further south into CT?
