I see I am about four pages behind here so a lot may have transpired in the interim....

But this really seems like an overblown statement. Most of us who actually frequent the NE sub-forum regularly know that most of Pete's schtick has just been in good fun. Same with Kevins... Maybe should be toned down a bit, but really I didn't see any of it as a big deal. Most of us were quite happy before all this nonsense started.

Well, it has made for some interesting reading during a very boring time of the year.

Interesting seeing all of these mod's from other regions are now experts on the issues in the NE sub-forum.

LOL, they are only in here to hassle me. SRain has been after me for over a year. Look no farther than this latest episode. Our very own ETaunton (Grandpa Bob) first said he moved the '12-'13 ski season thread out of a concern for the health and well being of the forum. When so many called BS on him he changed his tune to it was a harmless joke. He was just fooling around. He did it to curry favor and to amuse his MA audience. Here we have a mod, a person that is supposed to MODERATE, engaged in the very behavior he openly states he detests. Of course there is no sanction for him. If I were to pull some similar stunt there would be a swift, summary execution. We were quite happy before this latest nonsense Rick. I long ago would have gone out in a blaze of glory if it weren't for the interesting and diverse friends I've made through the board. I have only held back a withering counter offensive because I would actually miss many of you. Yep, this latest episode was a great win for me. It exposed the systematic antagonizing I'm subjected to. This after I've been essentially de-clawed so I can't fight back. Silly people. It's been great to get so many e-mails from you guys supporting me and deploring the actions of Bob and company. Very gratifying. Anyway, you are correct, it is a very boring time of year. Thankfully Summer is racing by and will be over before you know it. Personally I'm hoping for another August first frost.

I wonder why Mr.Business, Srain isn't up and at 'em in the pre-dawn light doing paperwork and getting things set for another day. You snooze, you lose.lol

Its ovah, Pete. No need to troll. Let it be, just let it be.

I hope Srain has more self-control and doesn't respond.

I'm not taking sides... just we need to start stopping this stuff. Its a new day, no reason to keep trying to stir the pot.

Pete, please stop this garbage. I know the weather is boring in your neck of the woods but this inciteful drivel is eventually going to get you banned.

A little s-shore action from late Jan 2011.

Nice...is that from the Jan 26-27 storm?

I've been reading through that storm thread and that's a good one. Everyone starts out by thinking it may miss east a bit and then the radar just goes to town over SNE....The month that you guys just could not lose and one of the few times the RUC at like 18 hours was correct with a much more NW track.

The whole thread guys like you and Will are like, "wow wouldnt it be something if the RUC was right?" and then the 18z and 00z GFS goes nuts with QPF over SNE literally as the snow begins to fall that evening. Those types of storms are awesome...where it just keeps breaking in favor of the snow weenies...and Will is pulling his hair out cause he doesn't know to forecast 5" or 15" for ORH.

Yeah that was after that storm iirc. My folks took a bunch of pics because the snowpack was awesome. That thread was great. I remember looking at WV that morning and we started to realize this was going to nail us. That was literally all convective upper level low snow. Not a ton of warm air advection.

Yeah there was a round of light snow in the morning then a break and it looked like a lock that PVD-BOS and east would get smoked, but the models weren't as impressive back in the ORH-HFD corridor. It was only that afternoon/evening that folks like Ray, Will, and Kevin realized they were going to get hit hard.

I needed to read some of those threads from 2010-2011 to remember what a good storm bust was...after last winter it's hard to remember what a hood widespread snow is like.

Max snow was in a band from near Kevin and Steve up through ORH-BOS and NE MA..either side by like 10-15 miles.

That was one of several that blew up just in time for SNE. We did ok in ENY, but SNE was in the sweet spot. Later that winter the pattern altered a bit and we cleaned up with a few good storms in late Feb/early March that made up for it.

Pete was banned.

:o

That is too bad. During winter months he provided good obs, etc. During other times, some of what he posted was great. Hand was writing on the wall though. He really needed to stop that schtick a while ago.

Maybe someday things will change and he will come back with better behavior.

Oh, look at all the people getting on soapboxes now.
