Yeah..we leave Tuesday.. Looks like decent wx..with maybe PM storms?

I'm sure they'll be storms there. A waterspout occurred about 5 miles from my parents on the lake yesterday...lol.

How do you get up there? Obviously 93...but where do you get off? I won't be up there next week, but it would be funny if you stopped by one day.

84 to Pike to 495 north to 93 to Kanc/then sneaky back way on that road that is closed in winter and gated Bear Notch Rd which brings you in right near Attitash and shoot 10 mins to Jackson from there..Always avoid that disaster on 16

Oh ok. If you get off exit 23, you go up rt 25 and pass my parents place....but I agree about disaster 16.

Chuck a few at exit 45 on 93. It's the exit immediately after you get off 495. You'll see my building.

Bear Notch Rd ftw

I think we are staying at the Seasons at Attitash again...or maybe at the little golf course across from SL...not sure yet

winterlike today

Well that's what MRG and MPM would tell ya. :)

Today was very reminiscent of Winter days when a moist NW flow keeps us in the precip while hideous valley locations like Scoob's see nothing but broken clouds and warming temps. Forky is in even worse shape as he lives way down in NJ where I'm pretty sure snowfall rarely occurs. I wouldn't expect either of you would understand the comparison of today's weather to a winter system as neither of you have a point of reference. Perhaps one day you'll be lucky enough to live in an elevated microclimate and some of these nuances will no longer elude you. Enjoy your intense summer heat!!!

I keep telling you - you keep shouting how good the life is at elevation and we flatlanders will bring our suburban sprawl, box stores, lawn fertilizer and rodent traps. I know you hillbillies have ways of scaring the box stores away, but the big retailers can be pretty persistent. They'll wave a few coon skins and moose jerky in front of you guys and next thing you know there's a Wal Mart, a Panera Bread, and a Chili's right around the corner. We'll chase you to AK if necessary to teach you a lesson.
