What do you do after you wow them? Oh, that's right, nothing. Don't let him kid you Scott, life hasn't changed, it's over.

J/K, It's totally cool. Chris is right, after the initial baptism by fire, if you survive, it's really awesome.

It's not the kill it's the thrill of the... oh' never mind. lol

It is cool re-examining the world through children's eyes.

Well, Denali won this round. Just got off the phone with Pete. After attempts to summit on days 11, 13, and 15 were repelled by weather they were extracted from base camp yesterday. Each attempt required an 18hr day and each attempt ended at 18,400'. Low vis in sn+ and high winds coupled with temps between -20 and -30 greeted them at Denali pass. However, they did get 3 ski descents from 18+K as well as numerous lower lines. Once you get above 15 or 16k it becomes a completely different operating environment. The weather is the single most determining factor in any big mountain summit attempt. This expedition was still a success, no injuries or fatalities. The next attempt will be in May 2013, hope to be there for that one. KUdos to Pete and Jake and company for a big time adventure. Here's the old goat leading the kids to high camp at 17k. Not the bunny hill.lol

Took the day off and played Centennial in Carmel Ny, was a perfect day and a fantastic track.

BSE2 keeps chugging along full speed ahead.

I got an e-mail from Cheetah about golfing. Let's get it together and pick a date. He just needs a weeks heads up. I'm game for anywhere really. The Foxwoods course could be cool but it could also be a zoo. I'm just as happy on a sleepier course. I'm flexible, shoot me a date that works for you and I bet Cheetah can make it happen on his end. We better get a round in quick, tick tock, summer will be over before you know it. That course looks nice.
