#NoPoles
Well I have some good news today. Looks like there will be a lil' scooter in the homestead come mid December. Pretty excited about it and so far so good as it looks right now. Feeding the baby and watching the 00z Euro come rolling in FTW. well i'll be... CONGRATS!!! err...now we all know what you have been doing!
ChrisM
It's the babies that are evil. At least at 3AM when they're screaming bloody murder and you can't remember the last time you slept for more than 3 hours straight. Seriously though, congrats. People will start saying stuff like "This will change your life" and "Nothing will ever be the same". It seems like just idle talk but it's true. You'll make an awesome father, just don't raise him/her to be a Pats fan or allow them to snowboard instead of ski like HubbDave did. Those would both be big parenting mistakes. First words should be "Go Bills". Speaking of bills, hooofah! wait until the kid costs start WOW! And another thing............... Yeah you'll have to buy less pot cause of the damn kid scoots!!! /Pete Congrats man!! I can't wait til the day!!

Chrisrotary12
So who wants to talk about our severe weather threat for next Tuesday? That same system that SPC has highlighted with Day 5,6,7 outlooks will eventually reach our neck of the woods in one form or another for next Tuesday and possibly Wednesday. Yeah there could be some good tstms...at least the trajectory seems to want to advect decent lapse rates in. It is much too early to throw around the EML term..but the trajectory is not bad. As it always is in SNE...still need plenty of time.

I don't like big closed lows over central Canada slowly moving toward us. I'd rather see an amplifying shortwave racing through the GL into Quebec. More often than not the former tends to weaken, lift out, and provide blah amounts of lift and mid level winds.

I, too, have twins and daycare is "only" 1k/month for the both of 'em. I guess that's the price you pay to live where the sun is always shining. As it stands now(a week away from the potential event). things look "interesting" to say the least. With that being said, it is a week away and this is New England so anybody's guess is as good as everyone else's.
