I dunno. Yesterday was awesome

Today was not perfect, but pretty good. Morning started a bit cloudy and clouded up now plus the td is going up

But you like higher dews

It was a little different up here compared to there. Today ended up a little cooler and sunnier. There was only a couple hours of midday mid-level altocumulus that came through. Otherwise it was mostly sunny from sunrise through now with a pleasant breeze. Dews were a little higher up here than yesterday, but they were still in the low/mid 50s all afternoon.

Just wait until you and I are drunk and trample Eek's hydrangea.

Must suck to live in a place that's 64 and cloudy while the other places are 90 and sunny not too far away. Oh...that and the lack of snow, interesting severe, hot days. Man, a weather fan's worst nightmare.

I do recall you saying how jealous you are of our living location a couple days ago.

(a)Consistent hot days are no prize to people that receive them, you would know that if you lived in an area upon which that occurred.

(b)I live a stones throw from one of the most popular beaches in Boston. I happen to love this current comfortable seabreeze at home. It is currently 70 and sunny. It is actually bearable to live without the a/c on and there is a beautiful ocean breeze coming throw all of my windows as we speak. I will trade in the conveniences of here over East Harwing-nowhere any day of the week.

©interesting severe occurs once or twice and sometimes never in SNE. Congratulations on your prize I suppose.

(d)sometimes there are elevation winters and sometimes there as coast winters. I will take my blizzard of 78's and boxing day blizzards over your nickel dime events when we miss a few inches due to warmer ocean air.

The guys are hunkered down at 14k. Occasional breaks allow them to acclimate by climbing up above 14k for a ski back to camp. Despite it being mild for the mountain they are enduring full on Winter weather conditions. They haven't seen temps above 0 for days. Truly a test of will. A planned push for the summit later this week/weekend may be delayed. Even marginally sketchy weather can be fatal. Low vis, a zig when you should have zagged could mean a several thousand foot plunge. So jealous.

Uggh ....Awakening to early daylight before 5:00 AM is unacceptable. Three weeks and we start heading in the right direction.

Ovc and 62 here...humid, but certainly better than it was.

Hang in there Rick. It's a sucky time of year but we'll be delivered from this evil before long as the first frosts of Autumn are only 100 days away.

Yep, our weekly countdown to Met. Autumn now stands at 94 days. ;)

BTW...glad to see that Paul had a nice storm to chase over here in ENY yesterday.

Nice to seen only 70's in the next 7 days now.

How can waking up to daylight at 5am be awful? I don't get it.

Me neither. I love being on the road at 615a with daylight. It's tough to fully wake up in winter when it's dark until 7a. There's a different way of thinking in GC I guess.

Many times I'm on the road before 5am and I love having it light. Helps me wake up.

It's almost June. Just embrace and enjoy what you have. Hell you should look at it as more productive time being a builder.

I enjoy myself everyday. I walked 9 yesterday in the mank, sweat my azz off and loved it. I just prefer the cold. Having fun isn't my problem, finding time to do it all is.

In the summer I like to sleep until 10-11 (No Kevin I'm not sleeping half the day away) and most of the time I have to run the AC because there's too much noise by 7 or 8am. That usually works though as not too much light is let it in so that's not a problem.

Sometimes I wish I could run on 3 hours sleep though...lol. I love being up till 2-3am and having after about 1030-11 completely to myself, but I also love summer mornings...usually 60s and calm. Can't have both.

I have shades in the bedroom... Not perfect though as the light still leaks in, but ok.

I was particularly annoyed today because I took refuge downstairs in the living room where there is central a/c these last two nights. No decent shades on these windows. Unfortunately the central a/c in this house doesn't do much upstairs. I make due with the fan and decent breezes most of the time, but this is tree pollen hell season and I can't open windows.

I guess all of the above partially explains my disdain for May into June. LOL

I also don't particularly enjoy cutting the lawn every 5 to 7 days.

Yeah exactly. I like the mornings...but that's just me.
