SNE End of May, into Summer Thread

Nice to see that BOX has removed any chance of hitting 80 here for at least the next 7 days. 60's for a high by next Saturday. LOL @ the Blizz forecast for death valley 90's here. Hopefully we only break 80 a few times this year, no 90* temps for the Summer is not unusual so.....

One of the more oppressive May days that I can remember around here..split the uprights and missed storms to the east and west which was fine by me since we had neighborhood BBQ today at our place...everyone was drenched in sweat...more like July 4th.

bout as good as it gets up here. nice and warm but not baking..a breeze early, dragonflies eating the skeeters, long lingering light to finish it up with a corona and a chianti. put the tomatoes in last weekend....good decision it seems.

Haven't drank since I left school, had a beer with dinner tonight and got a buzz lol..

Way nicer outside now. Hoping tomorrows weather breaks the right way, both for Matt and for all the pre m day picnics being held. Thinking well be safe here.

Wow, nioce to see the Box forecast continues to roll back temps here. After suffering through some mid to upper 70's this holiday weekend it looks like it'll be back to the 60's for highs. I love NE for the snows of Winter and the inability of heat to gain a foothold. Another high heat alert failure. Changes are afoot and this coming Winter is looking better and better.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 69.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50.

Friday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 68. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a low around 51. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Saturday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 67. Chance of precipitation

Where's LitchfieldCloudyBations? Showers down near Greenwich... thicker clouds around Fairfield this morning. Sun across most of Mass.

Goodmorning Ryan!!!!!!!

NWS OKX forecasting a mostly sunny day with a high of 77, yesterday was sunny and very hot, today sunny and seasonable, tomorrow sunny and hot again!

One of the best MEM day weekends ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doom and Gloom failure.

I would characterize yesterday as very muggy, but not really hot (only hit 79 here, prob 8 above normal?). But the dewpoints were just gross until late in the day.

Today is stellar so far

Awesome here attm.

Heading to coastal RI in a little while. Looks cool down there, low 70s

Currently 73 with a dew of 55 and an ENE breeze. It's been partly cloudy to mostly cloudy overall but the N and NW sky is increasingly blue! Shaping up to be an ideal beach day!

Summer traffic congestion here in town is in full swing... Tourist ... can't live with 'em - period. ^_^

Next weekend looks like it could be a disaster.

6z GFS and 0z ECM both have storminess for next weekend, although the Euro looks to be further west. GFS is a nasty cold Nor'easter with heavy rain from DC to Maine. The idea of June starting warm seems to be a failed one given the -NAO blocking pattern and trough axis over the Midwest/Southeast Canada. Not seeing any signs of heat pushing in from the west.
