Man I love Misquamicut... always used to go down there from the camp in CT during the hot summer days. Good stuff for bodysurfing.

Mr Torchey
bos+5 bdl+9 pvd+9 orh+8 This almost seems normal now, these should gradually increase through Tuesday, nothing shocking but some +10-15's will most certainly be showing up.

It's going to get harder to have those kinds of departures. BDL's normals are up to 75/52 by Tuesday, so +10 by then would be an 85/62 type day or near 90 by day and upper-50s by night. HIPPYVALLEY
Nice night. 72/64 but feels much more comfy than this afternoon. Stunning display of cummulus against a blue sky coming back from Northampton around 5pm. The corridor from N'hamp to Greenfield is just gorgeous this time of year. Lush. ski MRG
If you do 1 minute of physical activity with dews like that you will be drenched with sweat. At least most normal people with normal length hair would I walked 9 holes this afternoon and barely perspired. You should save all of this hyperventilating about terrible conditions for a time when conditions are actually terrible. If you break a sweat after 1 minute of physical activity you should see a doctor. You would never survive on a construction crew. With all the running you've been doing I would have thought you'd be in better shape.

I-91 was a beautiful ride when I went home to New York last weekend...I like the rolling hills on the east side of the CT River Valley that almost abut the interstate. It's definitely picturesque. weatherMA
Dude, you are one fragile flower if you think today is uncomfortable. WOW. LOL. Classic. Dude, I played basketball for 10 minutes this morning and was sweating bullets. It's very humid. LOL @ anyone calling today "cool". You walk outside and unless you sit there doing nothing, you sweat. Typical summer wx today...

free_man
It's probably better being too far N at this timeframe, given the way the models beat down heat ridges and direct them SW as we get closer to them. fvck

I spent a couple minutes trying to dunk (I'm 5'10) and i was sweating pretty hard. Got one good jam and called it quits. LOL at you young Turks acting like its brutal out there. My ladies team just played a seven inning two hour marathon in a 28-21 win with rockets getting hit all over the field, chasing balls and running bases. Not a single one said after the game they were tired or complained about the heat. It was very comfortable out. I had a sweatshirt on and was very comfortable. No swamp ass night at all. Suck it up boys.

moneypitmike
"disaster" might be a little strong--though the timing with the Memorial Day weekend my merit it. I'm hoping tomorrow can be reasonably nice/rain-free. I'd like to knock off early and tackle mowing the lawn to have the weekend for other pleasures (cutting firewood, e.g.). Yesterday was not even close to uncomfortable. You need to swing a hammer on a roof in 90+ humid weather for 8-10 hours and then get back to me on uncomfortable. It's no wonder the country is going down the tubes. Toughen up.
