ski MRG
Looks like -NAO FTW and no big prolonged heat in site. Could offer rain chances like today too. It's nice to have a concise and unbiased analysis offered Scooter. It's nice to counter Prof. Moonbeam from Tolland and his all torch all the time diatribes. Another rainy day here in the highlands with temps remaining in the low 60's.

Typhoon Tip
Yeah...okay, so -NAO, but this 18z GFS looks like it's going overboard here. We are not likely to jam -5 to -6SD sub-polar vortex into 50/50 heading into the last week of May.
powderfreak
??? thats what box has, are they wrong? I dunno, the ASOS sites are showing MUCH more rainfall than those numbers, dude. I mean, right here ORH should be at like 0.65" based on what you can see here. BOS is near 0.5" so far on the day based on the NOAA websites. weatherwiz
A negative NAO along with a -PNA is very good for us as the -PNA favors a trough working through the west coast eastward and the -NAO (especially if a strong signal) helps to prevent the most intense of the ridging from working into southern New England...this keeps us more towards the crest of the ridge which is where the stronger dynamics are located and this is also where EML's tend to travel as well. However, though once you get deeper into summer the NAO signal I don't think really does a whole lot.

ski MRG
The weekend is shaping up very nicely here. At least from a Tuesday vantage point. Looks like upper 70's to maybe 80 all three days with a chance of scattered showers. No sign of the phathom torch. A seasonably warm holiday. Once we clear Memorial day the 4th of July is right around the corner, then quickly the leaves change, football starts and it's Winter again. So psyched. Damage In Tolland
Coming back from soccer 10 mins ago..I'm driving up the hill and I hear a big thud and feel the car jolt..I was like WTF was that..Look in my rearview..and 3 deer are bolting across the rd..One of them clipped the back bumper of my car..It was wet,,so i can't tell if there was any damage in the fading light..but it's a miracle nothing worse happened. I never even saw them.. 1 second earlier and it would have run right into my driver side door or head on. Overgrown rats

Heavily overpopulated, shame we can't kill them randomly and feed them to the homeless and less fortunate. Truly delicious.
