Still got a good batch of rain to come into ern MA. Things should work out ok I think, except for screw zones that I mentioned yesterday.

Euro ensembles not as cool as op, but torch is muted Sunday-Tuesday next week. Looks wonderful for the race Sunday. AS SCF thought.

Ct. Valley one of those zones as usual ?

This is a KFS win with most places under a quarter inch

Well many areas will get a little less than I would have thought I think. I mentioned last night that most storms like this have a bit more moisture. I don't think it was Alberto, since Alberto was nothing from day 1. However, with another ULL nearby...I think western areas have a better shot at more convective type showers later this week. More hit and miss type stuff I think, but occasionally we could see a batch of steady rain move up.

Week isn't done though. I didn't have much rain, but figured better than 0.25" for a good chunk of the area today. You guys were in the screw zone from day one. So areas may get 0.1"-0.2" instead of 0.3". We will survive somehow.

Congrats, on doing your job:) I think I might go design a new perennial garden, plant it, then pat myself on the back for doing my job! :) Ha ha, good work scooteroo, however the month is far from over. I have 4.6 for beantown, looks like orh and bdl have a much better shot at that. Your forecasts have been spot on lately!

Hey judging my garden...I may have to buy you out. :) Thanks though, but I'm cutting back the temp talk I think...it's exhausting..lol. I do think euro op is too aggressive...GFS is light years different, but euro ensembles definitely do not agree with the GFS.

The idea of widespread soakings that some were talking about this week was incorrect. Better to be cautious with rain events as KFS was .kfs is hot with correct calls of 70s and humid yesterday and today as well

Raining at a pretty good clip down here. Radar doesn't seem to be doing it justice. Dense, almost tropical-like, rain.

.46 since midnight and .27 in the last hour.

I had a good downpour role though here earlier. Logan has 0.18"...but I think have a bit more than 0.25" right now. More coming in. Your rain is warm process type rains...those are those very dense medium drop size rain. Very efficient rain makers.

Perfect description and thanks for the definition. Ideal for the lawn and garden. :)

Nice soak underway. The rain on Tuesday pattern blows as its on my day off. ( have Sun, half day Mon and Tues off), but with the warmth it's easier to take while fishing. Weekly rains are just what we needed for AG, lawn needs right before summer. Summer kick off weekend with 3 full days off. Heavy heavy Fire pits, beer, horseshoes, swimming, tubing, body surfing incoming. Staycation from June 30- July 18 th. New England is the place to be in the summer.

It seems like the weekend is looking mostly dry except for maybe some passing showers saturday night or something from everything I've looked at. Any chance we get some sunny conditions? Or is it looking like partly to mostly cloudy?

Does anyone have monthly precip total map? It seems like my area is underperforming compared to what most people areposting

According to my Davis Vantage Vue (automatic rain bucket on the roof)- I've collected 5.71 so far this month - including today's rain.

That actually *may* be a little low since I believe I had some debris caught in there at some point for a couple of events. My recorded measurements from my yard rain gauge has me at about 5.90 so, I'm pretty confident in saying I'm very close to 6 inches for the month here in coastal SW RI.
