Mr Torchey
86 beat my thoughts, I figured 84 or so. I think SE winds are a favorable direction vs like a 160 or 180 due north up the valley. yeah, the local mets did a nice job. These last four days are as good as it gets for all around outside enjoyment. se ct is chilly!

CoastalWx
It may be possible for a good chunk of the rain to go south and also east sparing a lot of SNE...like what the 18z GFS has. I don't quite buy that right now, but it's possible I guess. if that happens..it would be worthless cloudy skies. Might as well get some rain if it's cloudy. CoastalWx
I'd say there is a small chance the front gets hung up near BTV on Sunday morning. If that happens..maybe kevin gets tstms, but my guess is that it's probably through nrn VT anyways. Not really buying the 12z GFS Fall like conditions, but at least right now...looks much more comfortable for a race than what models have about 2-3 days ago. Probably mild with lower dews for now. ski MRG
73/58, wasn't today supposed to be blazing hot? It was warm but pleasant. Cooling off now should slip into the 60's in the next 90 minutes or so.

HIPPYVALLEY
Specatacular day. Felt like 4th of July weather. Had a bunch of family out for baby Ben's 1st B-day and the high of 85F kept beer consumption way down so there is a bunch of leftovers and a nice breeze kept the bugs at bay. Now I look forward to W. NE getting some precip this week so my lawn project gets off to a good start.

CoastalWx
The 18z NAM spins up a little hybrid/tropical? low and brings it right up into SNE lol I wonder how much moisture tries to come northwest? Models sometimes suck with these things. Euro ensembles almoast looked like the NAM.

The thing on the NAM does look warm core. The NAM itself brings some pretty nice gusts to the Cape.
