calculus1 Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 Line of storms heading my way. I have received 3.43 inches so far since midnight, and all of that fell before 11 AM. Combined with the 0.46 from yesterday, I have 3.89 inches, storm total, with more on the way, apparently. This is easily the most rain I have received in a single day in several years. VERY heavy rain.. radar estimates just west of here 6" .. probably a little off.. but an official station in downtown Taylorsville is already reporting 3.68in for today, and that's just before this last batch of very heavy rain is added onto it. mackerel_sky Posted May 15, 2012 Share Posted May 15, 2012 Had 1.89 inches total since yesterday,severe cell moving in now with quarter size hail reported.Hoping to get over 2 inch mark with this storm.the storm wasn't severe when it got here,but kind of reformed imby,and I received .94 in less than 45 min.
