Weathergun
Good news about the severe wx threat today, that we've gotten rid of the convention early. The bad news is that there is low cloud deck back to the Central PA. Not sure how many of us will be able to get into warm sector this afternoon: http://climate.cod.edu/flanis/1km.php?loop=1&type=vis®ion=LongIsland
CoastalWx
Meh, doesn't seem that great with all the low to mid level clouds around. You'll want to get the sun out real quick or it may be just some sct stuff.

CoastalWx
If the sun burns off the stuff in the next 2 hours or so, then maybe we can get cookin', but kind of questionable right now.

Quincy
1km satellite does not look promising, but models hitting at some clearing by late morning/midday, we'll see...
blizzardof09
I really cant see today delivering as far as severe weather goes. Doubt very much especially along the coastal plain we'll get any clearing during the afternoon gonna be one of those days i think it'll stay overcast. Maybe some scattered stuff but like quincy said doesnt look too promising.
