CoastalWx
euro is quite wet this coming week and looks like it has some ens support with that additional wave of LP moving along the stalled boundary. Yeah looks like it. Gfs is wet too.
CoastalWx
And while it could turn warmer at times, it still is not a torch pattern from what I can tell..not with troughing in the east.
ctsnowstorm628
And while it could turn warmer at times, it still is not a torch pattern from what I can tell..not with troughing in the east. Agreed. Looking ahead, looks like mean heights try to rise in the east d11-d15. Maybe some hope for a decent second half of the month.

Yeah it will probably warm up later in the month, but too early to say overall generic warmth, or torch weather.
ctsnowstorm628
Yeah it will probably warm up later in the month, but too early to say overall generic warmth, or torch weather. Well, by late May, "torch weather" is 90+ lol. We will probably end up slight above normal second half of the month as I look now at most guidance showing positive anomalies at 500mb. But this next 10 days or so may be rough and wet (LOL).
CoastalWx
Some rain this week, but if the ensembles are right, could be a decent weekend coming up.

CoastalWx
Phil/Messenger/Nantucket Waves./Bob likely winners in SNE zones? Well at first NNE will get soaked, but they may end up winners from round 2. Still should be a good drink for most.
CoastalWx
This also may be a little progressive too like the euro has. If that happens..someone in central or ern mass may get screwed.

dendrite
Looks really wet and raw for CNE/NNE on Tuesday. Maybe we can clear it out in time to get some sun and salvage a decent Wednesday.

ctsnowstorm628
Move south SNE isn't too much better...55-60F with overcast/light rain, while NNE/CNE is 50F with real rain. If its gonna be crappy, we might as well get some RN+

dendrite
Part 2 is still primed for SE MA/RI on Thu. Looks like many of us get over an inch of rain this week.

Seems like its slightly east of the GFS? GFS seemed to get most of eastern CT into the action as well....only reason it matters is because I drive 4 hours home that day lol
dendrite
Hopefully the euro is right and we get a nice stretch of warm weather after next week's systems.
moneypitmike
Looks like GC may escape the heaviest rains, but a good watering nonetheless. Get out the sandbags in some areas.
dendrite
Looks like it could get really nice starting around mother's day. There will be some precip chances in the extended, but hopefully we get a relaxation from the 40s/50s with drizzle. At any rate, today will be a gem in a lousy work week. Hopefully most of us see 1"+ this week.
CoastalWx
I think heaviest rain is probably offshore unless the trough sharpens up a bit, but a decent drink for most.

CoastalWx
Yeah this has all the looks of all bark..little bite with rain. It could easily bite, but I think heaviest rain is down by phil..he'll get soaked. That might change in the next 24 hrs.
