ski MRG
We are no where near drought conditions, reservoirs are full, rivers are full, soil conditions are moist. The rivers and streams here are back at a healthy flow after one of the lowest spring run offs I remember.
CT Rain
The rivers and streams here are back at a healthy flow after one of the lowest spring run offs I remember. Most rivers in CT are normal to below normal. A few are much below in the 10-20 percentile range.

weatherwiz
Yeah the weather has just been dreadfully boring since Halloween snow. I can't believe how boring it has been. Hopefully something changes soon. The GFS 8-10 day 500mb pattern actually doesn't look all too bad...I would like to see more of this heading into the end of May and first half of June. scoob40
The pros at BOX seem to feel we're going to get soaked here. At least I consider 2-3" of rain a good soaking. It's timed over a long duration as well so it will truly soak in. Nice to see temps staying in the 60's as the bonus. Love the cool rainy weather Spring brings. Tonight: Showers likely, mainly after 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 54. Light northwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. Monday: Showers before 1pm, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 1pm and 4pm, then showers and thunderstorms likely after 4pm. Patchy fog between 7am and 8am, then Patchy fog between 1pm and 2pm. High near 62. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Monday Night: Showers. Patchy fog. Low around 52. South wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. Tuesday: Showers. High near 62. South wind between 3 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Tuesday Night: Showers. Patchy fog between midnight and 1am, then Patchy fog after 2am. Low around 51. Southeast wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible. Wednesday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. CoastalWx
Should be a good soaking for most this week with many areas at least 0.5" to 1.5". Who said not even a tenth? LOL.
moneypitmike
What a nice day yesterday turned out to be 76.7/52.9 for the highi at the Pit. ski MRG
55/54, -rn, looks like we've already picked up a .10" so every drop that falls adds to the magnitude of the KFS bust.

The sky is the limit, and as LLE this month will be comfortably on the right side of the departure meter. powderfreak
First call is Mostly sunny with temps near 80. Maybe dews near 50-55 or so. That's about perfect for BTV this time of year...remember though he's running mostly within a mile or two of the lake the whole time and sometimes right on the immediate shore. BTV ASOS is 3-4 miles inland and often a tick warmer than downtown and lake front. Lake temp is 45F which is warmer than normal but any west wind gusts will blow refreshing air over a good portion of the course....especially the Rec Path parts where you fall in the water if you trip. Well it's just a ballpark guess right now. I'm not gonna get too cute with details like temps near the lake or what not. But for right now, looks relatively dry and a little above normal.
