Lapse rates are so-so. Not horrible, but could be better. I guess if western areas can break out..they have a shot. I'd say ern NY into NW CT and CT valley of MA have the best shot. Might be enough support to help sustain storms further east. Decent jet venting.

Not yet... I'm going to. I had a real rain gauge but I didn't mount it yet and the dog knocked it over an it cracked in 2 places.
