This upcoming week (besides tomorrow) looks pretty gross. Gray, showery, maybe some heavier rain, and below normal.

below normal where? Not a single day forecast below normal by nws upton for the next 7 days? I have not looked at any models so way way out of the loop. I thought we were warm sector rained t-w?

BDL's climo is 47/70 over the next 7...

I have

Mon 48/74

Tue 49/63 (this could bust low)

Wed 53/65

Thu 52/67

Fri 45/68

Sat 43/70

Sun 46/70

So yeah you are right that as a whole we probably wind up near normal in terms of departures especially given mild overnight mins but I certainly don't see highs averaging above normal after Monday for an extended period.

Thanks Ryan, we were all certainly spoiled in feb march and the first half of April, I am glad normal is back its a beautiful time of year and always enjoy easing into summer.

It's just a bummer this week isn't going to feature more sun. Most people (not weather people) think that the past week has been horrible... and they're going to get another bad week coming up. Just a pretty crappy pattern.

Not Arctic wind-driven thunder clouds like Ginx saw in IJD today but just gloomy.

LOL, +7 by the end of the week with EF3s Tuesday.

Yeah this week and even part of next week looks near normal..maybe a little below too.

I'm just kidding with LL.

I think the longer range may be warmer, but I still see troughing in the east. I wonder if we can vaporize this drought in May?

We're one well placed cut-off away from doing it.

I do agree with you about next week's pattern looking good for a soaker. I don't see any pronounced torch through D15... though I think we may string together an above normal period in there... just not late spring/summer like temps.

Looks like we warm sector this week AWT..I don';t think this week is going to be cool like last week thankfully..

Looks like we're done with the 50's for highs until October thankfully.

Dare I say next weekend looks nice with low 70's and sun

That's how it looks now
