Mr Torchey
No sooner did my old salt neighbor tell me we're in for a doozy of a Winter the positive departure/dry regime went kaput. Time for cool and wet that will eventually turn cold and white. About 150 days until we can start seeing the first threats. yep, i think spring and summer will just be bypassed this year, grande grande grande winter incoming

Mr Torchey
Who took over Joe's computer? I am going to talk about snow all day and night, ignore summer, ignore the fact that May will be the 15th month in a row with above normal temps here. All winter, all the time, that way people will like me, and I can be a part of the crew. I want to be liked, so reality no longer exists. Yay snow overcast

CoastalWx
This wx sucks for a Saturday. Unless you are living vicariously through friends in AK, or drinking coffee wearing a shawl while fighting wind farms in NW MA...this sucks. At least we got some rain last night. Nah, this weather still beats the ugly 80's. Cool and cloudy is fine with me. Just one day closer to a new Winter season without having to deal with heat. True there isn't a mall nearby to go to but I couldn't think of a worse activity. Golf, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, gardening, mountain biking, building a fort with the kids, home improvement projects, sitting and relaxing with a book in quiet desolation, all are on the table. What do you urbanites do for fun? Used syringe hunts, guess the # of homicides overnight, put thicker bars on the windows, find a better parking space? Hedge Smedge, you live in one of the best pub cities in the world, go find a dark pub with good beer on tap and good food, drink till 3 or so, when you emerge the sun will be shining and you can grab a bottle of wine at an outdoor cafe. Enjoy this time before kids, you will have a long time to wait until you are alone again. Drink for me, please. Stay thirsty.
