Must be a Boston thing..We've always called them packs..I'll pick up a 12 pack..or a 30 pack.

It even says it on the box.

Rack sounds like it's a rack of lamb or something

i say 12 pack or 30 rack. Down in guilford it was always a 30 rack.

Everyone says 6 pack/30 rack. This is what happens when you live in your own little world, you don't even know the correct terminology. Sad.

Have to go with Blizz on this one.. Never even heard the term 30 rack. If you went down from W. Chesterfield to the Table&Vine in Noho and asked for a 30 rack you would get a blank stare.

Ummm, no. In addition you, wouldn't say " a 30 rack" . You would simply say , for instance, " a rack of budweiser please". I have lot's of 20 year olds working for me and I often here them say " I'm going to get a rack of Buds and get wasted." Terrible problem with alcohol most of our youth have. Total degenerates that are only worried about their next high. Sad.

No. I almost never drink alcohol. Though one of the provisions that we found stashed for us a few weeks ago was beer and it tasted very, very good. Your picture reminded me of this one.

I work at a liquor store, so I can provide the correct E MA terminology.

6 bottles/cans = 6-pack

12 bottles/cans = 12-pack

18 bottles/cans = 18-pack

24 bottles = case

24 cans = suitcase (cuz it looks like a suitcase, duh)

30 cans (don't have bottles) = 30 pack (a very few call it a 30 rack)

36 cans = 36 pack

That's it...NorEastermass128 has spoken.

PS - Took my last final today. Done with undergrad!
