Fickle Heights Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Yes, the only other time it happened at KIND and at the Purdue COOP in WL was in 1907, and that April was the coldest on record, at least in WL.I helped write an article for the J&C in Lafayette about this. daddylonglegs Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 For the first time ever, March (50.4F) was warmer (0.8F) than April (49.6F) in La Crosse, WI. Temperature records date back to 1873.
