todays low so far is 66...The record high minimum for this date is 65...does it cool off later in the rain?...probably...

I can't believe it only got down to 66. It wasn't even that hot yesterday.

18z GFS now depicts quite a bit of rain for coastal areas, upwards of 1-2" for E CNJ.

Beautiful late week and weekend incoming w/ brilliant sunshine, lower dew points, and temps in the 70s. Can't complain. We need the rain this week.

not sure about needing the rain, it has rained alot lately...lawns are lush green and growing at a rapid pace

Central Park is still about 6" below average since January 1st. The short term rain is helpful but more rain is still needed to get the yearly total closer to average.

No work today...heavy rain coming from sw....currently mod rain shower here

made it to 4:15 yesterday before showers ended the day

pleasantly surprised to wake up to no rain this morning...lawns are wet but I think we can get 3-4 hours in cutting some lawns before the slug down in delaware comes over us.

There is a pretty large slug of moisture coming in. We should still see .50"+.

You can see the moisture working through but its less than what the models were indicating yesterday.

The best model may have been the NAM over the weekend with its drier runs for the area. The GFS and

SREF's were too wet.
