Kmlwx
Another line firing back in sw pa......will it last? I'm doubtful - maybe some showers or isolated storms. Atmosphere has got to be pretty overturned now from the line that just went through. Not to mention loss of daytime heating. Maybe some rumbles can make it here though. caviman2201
Very pedestrian little storm on the shore... only one bolt of lightning was actually even remotely close and flashes were very spaced out. About 30 seconds of heavy rain followed and preceded by light rain... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
TradeWinds
Just saw the craziest bolt of lightning here in frederick. Didn't get a pic, but it looked very sim,iar to the pic below, just blue and a little thinner. sounds cool to see. Coming home from the gym around 10:00, I saw a huge side bolt from cloud to cloud while looking South. Must be some high number of loose ions up there tonight. Damn thats awesome bro. I will gladly take it with all the plantings in the yard and new grass in front. Hopefully this is a trend that stays with us. Kmlwx
My early thoughts, the worst will be to our south, because that's usually how it happens for us Definitely seems plausible if not likely. Yesterday in the extended discussion they mentioned what you are saying as well. Still, look how far north the overall slight goes - we will have to see how the system fine tunes. I guess the question becomes if we will see a solid line, small line segments, or discrete cells. That factor will determine a huge amount of how many people get shafted lol Another swing and a miss for the Mason-Dixon counties on Friday. $20 says the warm front gets stalled across the PA/MD and only locations south of I-70 clear out. Still...being near the warm-front threatens to make your job hectic! We all know there's some tornadic enhancement right around the front. All of this is super prelim though...we'll have to see how it all develops.
