Just got home from a fun 40-mile ride. Some awesome skies. Rain was so heavy on I-81 that a couple of times I considered pulling over. Couldn't see a tractor-trailer less than 100 ft. in front of me.

Roadways are under rushing water here, and low-lying lawns are ponds.

0.27" but it came in about 15 min. My weather station picked up a max rainfall rate of 3.24"/hr. Just shy of 4" for the month.

Rain is mostly done up here now. Still thunder and lightning.

I can tell you Northern Frederick Co. is going to have some major issues with flooding. I am seeing clearing behind what just went through down here, but up just 5 miles it has been raining heavily for the last 45 min.

And my husband is just leaving Rockville. I told him I would see him sometime tonight as the storms are approaching 270. He will be in a parking lot soon.
