famartin
Nice shots man. What range is this? Cherry Creek and Egan (they kind of run together so I can't really figure out where one ends and the next begins)
Voyager
Cool pics Ray! I used to love the "monsoonal" thunderstorms when I lived out in Arizona. Some of the most impressive lighning displays I'd ever seen, and the fact that you can see for miles and miles to the horizon made them even better. Desert thunderstorms are the best! WXheights
Western high base thunderstorms and the often wonderful smells of wet sage and in the southern deserts creosote bush. I pulled duty at Ely for about 1 year and cold low topped convection sometimes with small hail in the basin and ranges. Sometimes you can smell the rain coming in the monsoon south-easterly's. frostfern
It's nice not having trees blocking the sky everywhere you look.
