Tough call and hopefully it doesn't bite me in the behind but I'm not gonna go after it.

Looks like a good call. You'd realy have to drive to get there.

The darn thing's really crankin' right. It now looks like the rotation could actually miss Crawfordsville to the south.

231 is a convenient route out of LAF, but the right turn would just add on some time. Gonna watch it for a little while yet. There are a couple doable options heading southeast into Boone county...could end up changing my mind.

That's really close to the town of New Ross! I-74 just east of there.

If it's still on the ground... it is SW of Lebanon.

From the looks of velocity scans, our Boone Co. storm appears to be lining out and becoming a straight line wind threat.

It's into the NW burbs now. Zionsville about. Caution to anyone on 865 or 465. Tornado warning expired.

Here in Lebanon I was worried about hail, just being north of the nasty stuff. But only had heavy rain here. That area of a triangle drawn by New Ross, Jamestown and Advance seems to be a funnel cloud/tornado magnet.

could be a bumpy ride if we can avoid the debris clouds from the MCS's

Always a big if in this region. But since we have multiple opportunities over the next few days, I think chances are better then not we'll see some decent severe weather....prolific hailers if nothing else.

Nice looking complex getting going over NW Iowa should be fun to watch it mature over the next few hours...super early morning action in the making.

I've been thinking about this MCS since I woke up this morning, classic early morning rumbler. Squall line looking healthy and about halfway across southern Minnesota, already moving into Wisconsin at the latitude of Minneapolis. Some 60-70 mph wind gusts being reported in northern IA with the line.
