Early May (1st-7th) Severe Chances

A storm with a meso will move very close to Cincy within the

next 30 to 45 minutes.

Cincy will probably have a pretty good one. I can't tell on the severe characteristics, since I don't have GRLevel3 running. This looks loaded with rain, higher VIL, right environment for some severe weather.

It looks to be heading more Easterly than before which isn't good as it will be traveling along I-70 for a while.

I think you mean I -74, but yeah. Hoosier ought to get some shots of this. You better hurry though if you don't want to core punch to get to the south side of the storm.

Yeah, brain lapse, too many freeways pinwheeling off of Indy.

Danville has about 32,000 people but not sure where most of the population is concentrated. Biggest threat is on the south side of town.

99.9% of Danville's population is north of I-74.

If the tornado hit where reported at I-74/R150, that is a residential area (Tilton).

Been through that area several times on the way to chases.

Yeah, I hadn't seen the latest scan. Definitely a nice right turn which could take it into that area.

I wonder if there are any spotters./chasers on it. From the radar signature, it should be dropping a funnel or at least have a nice wall cloud. The only report since it crossed the state line was quarter sized hail near Perrysville.
