turtlehurricane
The storm reports have been plain nasty, several tornadoes and lots of damaging wind. Lack of hail reports though. http://www.spc.noaa.gov/climo/reports/today.html

turtlehurricane
I want to go for a bike ride...is this thing going to plow through here? Probably gonna get a direct hit from the MCV in La Crosse, gonna be stormy but not as bad as the main line. Definitely wouldn't recommend bike riding in it lol
Geos
18z NAM shows another derecho moving across the same area tomorrow. Heads towards NC IL. 21z HRRR still shows the current one fizzling as it hits the River.
SpartyOn
Can't look on the phone but I suspect that it will travel along or is traveling along a boundary of some sorts.
Geos
Sun is getting low, but you can see the overshooting tops of this monster! SW WI looks to get a direct hit.
hawkeye_wx
So far this MCS is showing no sign of turning even east-southeast, so it's not looking good for areas down here being affected.
Indystorm
Nice bow echo heading straight for Decorah IA region. Surprised the storms aren't turning more se along the boundary, at least as of yet.
A-L-E-K
Will that hold together long enough to make it to this area? going to turn more SE
OceanStWx
The southern flank appears to have more convection firing and trying to catch up with the leading outflow. Possibly a sign that the LLJ is kicking in. Potential fly in the ointment is the convection back in Nebraska, that might rob the instability and cut off inflow into the northern MCS. The latest HRRR shows this to some extent.

A-L-E-K
it's about to die...almost no MLCAPE and LLJ oriented poorly.
OceanStWx
it's about to die...almost no MLCAPE and LLJ oriented poorly. I think the LLJ will be organizing itself back to the west of this MCS. I agree, unless convection really starts to blow on the south side, it will be on a downward trend. Plenty of MUCAPE to tap farther south and west though. Geos
Few small cells firing out ahead of this complex. West of Monroe, WI and a few down by Cyclone. Would be nice to see some rain from this tonight.
