Ragged shelf cloud and some decently gusty winds just came through with the outflow boundary from the north. Big temp drop too. It was pretty cool, I was walking home and the shelf cloud was catching up to me from behind like it was "chasing" me :P

Unsurprisingly with the decreasing instability, everything is currently sub-severe in SEMI. Still looks like a prolific lightning producer though

I never seen or heard anything like it. The thunder was a non-stop roar. I thought for sure I was hearing a tornado ripping my neighborhood apart. It was just eerie.

Was just outside and got surprised by a quick developing thunderstorm. I had to rush to get a bunch of plants and stuff in the garage. So far it's just a scattering of moderate to heavy downpours. I suppose that's what it will mostly remain as the stronger storms blow up farther south. Currently pouring with just a bit of thunder.

Storms decided to fall apart and become non severe. the outflow was epic though. crazy clouds!

The clouds looked too eerie and convective looking for nothing to happen.

The gust front thus sparked off a line of new t'storms right overhead.

They're not severe, but I'm happy. They're producing torrential downpours.

Plus, this is the first time I've seen a shelf cloud like that with a gust front.

I had two rounds of t'storms (then the convective downpour around 10AM-10:30AM this morning) through this entire event, which is better than what many saw. I'm not complaining.

There you go...

Likely a TOG with this cell in IA, CC is low where the rotation is.

CC is low, but it is not collocated with high reflectivity (> 40 dBZ). Most likely this is inflow air, which may contain dust or other biologicals and is resulting in low CC.
