I hope people are seeking shelter in downtown Louisville because this is going to be extremely dangerous.

THE LOUISVILLE WATERFRONT AND DOWNTOWN AREAS AROUND 8 PM. AT LEAST

QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH...ARE

EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM. PERSONS OUTDOORS SHOULD TAKE SHELTER.

The storm heading towards Louisville is losing its supercell characteristics and becoming a bow echo. You can see two counterrotating vortices in its lee, like an upward rising puff of smoke. There's a minor chance of tornadoes in those vortices I think, but anything that happens would be weak.

The worst of the hail is on track to go through southern metro Louisville. Winds around 50 kt being detected ~1000 ft above the ground. Might be stronger at the sfc since the winds are from a density current due to the downdraft spreading out at the ground.
