BeauDodson Posted May 12, 2012 Share Posted May 12, 2012 The one back in February hit my nephews house (that is the southern most red line) - we could see the power flashes from my place up here on the hill. The radar images from that outbreak were impressive - scary. VERY early morning event for a lot of those tornadoes in southern IL - between 2 am and 5 am. The overall lack of strong tornadoes the last few decades compared to other areas is also quite notable. The other shoe will drop eventually unfortunately.
