Yeah I've driven for over a year. I've done 1-2 hour drives and its NBD. The only reason I don't do longer drives to places is my parents get too nervous lol. I have a car that I get to use until I go to college next year and then it's my brothers except when I come home on breaks.

I would like to go to the conference at some point...maybe next year after one year of college if I find someone who will want to go.

The only thing I don't like about longer drives (2 hours+) is what it does to my back. Just kills it the last few years.

When we head north to NH or down to RI I bring one of those back heaters.

If I drop 60 lbs like Blizz did that might help

lol @ complaining about a 100 mile drive. If the issue is legitimately $ for gas...that's one thing. If you have to be home for your kids game at night....that's one thing. But if someone is complaining about it just because they don't want to drive 2 hours, that's dumb. 2 hour drives are nothing.

I think it's more the having a few drinks and taking a 100 mile drive that is understandable. It's stupid actually to do. JMHO.

We've got one of the greatest cities in the country in Boston, a great party spot like Newport and a great place like Plymouth with one of the better waterfronts in the region...... or we can do the summer hotspot of worcester again. Foxwoods/Mohegan...fine by me too.

Plymouth center isn't that close to me, it's about 21/22 miles. Quincy would be about 40-45, Boston another 5-10. I'd do any of those spots.

I don't think one person complained anywhere in this whole thread...high school kids only keep getting dumber huh

Haven't climbed that yet. It's on my list to do the traverse from one end to the other.

Moat Mt. Brew Pub. No climbing necessary. Good food, good beer. Someday, I have to make one of these. I just have to convince my bride that after 16+ years of marriage, it's necessary for me to go to a bar to hang out with guys who talk about weather on the internet. It's a bit of a tough sell.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

And my wife says it is ok now and then...lol

(actually, she gets psyched when I go out)

Mohegan or foxwoods would be convenient :) I really wanna make one of these things especially on my summer break coming up until mid August. Seems like a good time.

Oh ok, that's cool. Even as a freshman i don't go to Plymouth until September 3rd.

Holy crap that's late (and nice I may add). Yeah when I was a freshman we went up August 27 and started school August 29.

However we get a full week break for Columbus day and a full week for thanksgiving. Then after going back January 23ish get a full week in late February and early April. Our classes end next week. Overall I love our break schedule and I know you'll absolutely love getting out wayyyyy earlier than in high school. You can go visit friends younger than you and just laugh hahah

Yeah it sounds like besides the week later of starting Lyndon's schedule is better. We get one week in March for spring vacation. I can't wait for high school to be over. 3 more weeks of classes and then finals (although I only have 1 final since you can avoid them if you get at least a B+).
