The MPX NWS does this all the time. Sadly

I know they did a terrific job with the 6/17/10 outbreak.

BTW...later this week, the GFS and NAM are popping some ridiculous instability across the central portion of the country.

big storm got going in nw KS thanks to subtle wave moving through. IA also looks like it could go with cu bubbling under the stratus deck.

Saw that, i'm interested to see what happens with that storm considering it is Extremely Isolated, and will be for a while... Although the SRH in that area isn't terribly great it's certainly has some potential. Considering it is already producing Tennis Ball Sized hail...

That was the big Minnesota outbreak that produced the Almora/Mentor/Albert Lea/Wadena tornadoes/

No I was asking about the current GFS/ NAM Models... Not the Previous model that turned out verified...

For states, generally from the Plains to the MS Valley and for the time, the weekend. If that trough up north is able to eject in one piece and dig a bit further south, then it could tap this juice.

Figured, pretty much where the SPC talks about in the Day 4-8 outlook, For Day 4... Although they expect the Stronger SRH, and mid-level winds to be more in the "cool sector" and not the Warm Sector..
