SDS..radar images of supercells/storms you chased or watched

I was downloading some radar data last night of a few setups I had chased this year and thought I would save some images of some of the better storms I either saw or watched while going happening on radar. Then thought I'd make a thread of it and see how many we can get up here! So either any storms you chased or watched on radar!

I will start with this one..

first funnel cloud I ever saw on my street while on my bike!

I don't have any good past radar images of this storm, but August 24th, 2006 was one of the best tornado days I've chased and it just so happened to be a mere 10 miles from my home. This multi-vortex tornado was on the ground for 30+ miles. My avatar is of this storm right when it started turning multi-vortex.

Here we are stuck in mud with tornadoes all around us, including one about 50-75yds. We had to turn around cause the road came to a dead end in a field. Yes im sure people know all about this whole fiasco, as MANY chasers, including experienced ones got stuck, but i'll leave it at that.

Great photos, and yikes you were one of those people? You guys are very lucky nobody died that day. Just goes to show even advanced GPS and all that fancy stuff will never be 100% reliable.

I actually never made it back into the field. They were ahead of me a little, and radioed back that the road ended. We turned around quickly to find another escape route, and by that time the rain had started to drench the once drivable road into a giant mud hole. We were about to get through it when another truck coming in the opposite direction forced us to go somewhat off the road, slow down, and ultimately stop. Game Over from there.

Don't know if you've seen this page but there are several smoothed radar caps of that event here:

If were gonna add pictures :) this is east of Dumas, looking west.

That was one of my favorite chases of the year, even if the tornadoes (from the Dumas-Stinnett storm) were fairly brief. Just something about the location, longevity of the storm, and especially how nice the day turned out for having such meager moisture. Plus, there's no better feeling than ending a successful chase knowing the next day should be even better. I have a bunch of pics here: http://skyinmotion.com/chase/chase.php?id=94

Besides 6/5, this was my favorite chase, Nice, easy storm motions, a gorgeous supercell. But what we did was leave it as it was nearing Stinnett and hauled back northwest to Dalhart/Stratford to see 2 more supercells that both produced a a night tornado. I will post pictures of that when I get home. quite an amazing day, 4 tornadoes with 3 different storms.

A recent one for me is June 14, 2010. A thunderstorm intensified and became very severe just after it moved into Indiana. This thing produced softball size hail and winds up to 100 mph in the county to the west. It weakened from an absolute monster to a more typical severe thunderstorm by the time it got here.
