Looks like the chilly days for mowing the lawn continues. Back when I'd really mow the lawn with a push mower, the exercise would warm me up. Today, though, I just sit there and freeze. I'll need to put on an extra shawl.

20S. WEST WINDS 15 TO 20 MPH. GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH IN THE EVENING.

10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.

yikes, radar does not look good, suppression sensation.........and the drum beat grows loud once again as the fire builds to our west, torch torch torch. This unforgettable fire will not be denied, it is relentless.

Cobalt blue skies out there, very unsettled.

Tonight isn't about suppression.

Love the valley fog on frosty mornings from the very high rivers running. What a great rain relief this week was. More chances looming even over the weekend. this settled stagnant weather pattern has produced. Looks like we get a nice steady shower at times tonight AMOUELLT. A brief warmup then more trough times with an amplification chance. Looking at the national radar shows how wetness is returning. Normality reigns, the extremes have taken a back seat. oh least active April tornado month ever? must be GW.

models just snatched our rain away today, unbelievable...........dry begets dry.............KFS is gonna rock you!

I went through this yesterday...it's not suppression. I said that the best QG forcing was in NNE while convection to the south may rob some moisture and cause the old 7-10 split in SNE. Me FTW. Basically 2 areas of moisture that miss us...or barely graze us.
