CapturedNature
28F and frost 3rd frosty morning in a row 29° here and two for me. Right on target for my average last "hard" freeze which is tomorrow but we should beat that temp on Saturday and Sunday. For a spring that got off to an early start, things seemed to slow down and we're almost where we should be!
HoarfrostHubb
Yeah, it has seemed normal for a bit. Still, the month should wind up positive for SNE

moneypitmike
Looks like the chilly days for mowing the lawn continues. Back when I'd really mow the lawn with a push mower, the exercise would warm me up. Today, though, I just sit there and freeze. I'll need to put on an extra shawl. .FRIDAY...PARTLY SUNNY. A CHANCE OF RAIN SHOWERS IN THE MORNING. BREEZY. NEAR STEADY TEMPERATURE IN THE LOWER 40S. WEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH. CHANCE OF RAIN 40 PERCENT. . FRIDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. MUCH COLDER WITH LOWS IN THE LOWER 20S. WEST WINDS 15 TO 20 MPH. GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH IN THE EVENING. .SATURDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40S. WEST WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH. .SATURDAY NIGHT...MOSTLY CLOUDY. COLD WITH LOWS IN THE MID 20S. . SUNDAY...SUNNY. HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40S. This unforgettable fire will not be denied, it is relentless. Cobalt blue skies out there, very unsettled. Love the valley fog on frosty mornings from the very high rivers running. What a great rain relief this week was. More chances looming even over the weekend. this settled stagnant weather pattern has produced. Looks like we get a nice steady shower at times tonight AMOUELLT. A brief warmup then more trough times with an amplification chance. Looking at the national radar shows how wetness is returning. Normality reigns, the extremes have taken a back seat. oh least active April tornado month ever? must be GW.

CoastalWx
models just snatched our rain away today, unbelievable...........dry begets dry.............KFS is gonna rock you! I went through this yesterday...it's not suppression. I said that the best QG forcing was in NNE while convection to the south may rob some moisture and cause the old 7-10 split in SNE. Me FTW. Basically 2 areas of moisture that miss us...or barely graze us.

Damage In Tolland
Nice zonal flow sets up next week thru mid month...Should offer above normal overall..with an occasional fropa with a 1 day cooldown type deal..Nothing looks like like we go to trofiness or wet..which is what we worried would happen
