CoastalWx
Tomorrow looks like a gorgeous day interior SNE with temps near 70..maybe a bit below while ENE is socked in with clouds But but but you thought 70+. Looks like me FTW. Thursday may be a fail to for you. I'll take a sixer of Smithwicks.

I may be incorrect on 70+, but if BDL dawns sunny that might be doable still. You thought it would be cloudy/foggy all day though

moneypitmike
Tomorrow looks like a gorgeous day interior SNE with temps near 70..maybe a bit below while ENE is socked in with clouds Yup. I'm looking foward to a little sun and low 60's. After today's rain, will be great for sprouting the seed I've put down. Also, for the KFS' sake, it's a good thing the Pit's not one of the climo stations as I already have .25" and raining heavily. Mositure robbed to the south?? Time to swallow your pride on this one, Kevin.

CoastalWx
Man ch 7 at it again. They had upper 40s to low 50s I believe for Friday and now they have 75. People must wake up and be like WTF is going on? Horrible consistency.
weathafella
Looks like the radar wants to split the I90 corridor skunking (relatively) the Boston-Worcester corridor.
Damage In Tolland
Mike..that radar looks terrible lol..what is wrong with you? It's doing the 7-10 split..with light rains/showers for most of SNE.

Dude--BDL and PVD have solid rains en route. Less than .5? I don't think so..........they'll have that by a large margin. Bostonseminole
I appreciate the accolade...but don't worry...I'm busting on Kevin..not upset at all. But, it is tiresome and I don't want people to log on and see the same thing every day and it feeds into Kevin's web of spin. He's like a spider and you have to be careful he doesn't spin a cocoon around you. . Thanks for that, it does get tiresome,

CoastalWx
This is incredible. Chicago will be almost 3 degrees cooler in APRIL as compared to MARCH! Folks, that is virtually impossible to do. I can't believe that.

Mr Torchey
wow, is it going to absolutely torch down here later today, and all the sudden high temps have been bounced by 5 degrees from OKX, no surprise at all. The warmth continues to win out again and again and again.

CoastalWx
I wonder if we can pop some storms on Friday as well? The GFS wasn't great on shear, but had awesome lapse rates. Of course, that will all be a function of front position, but at least some MCS activity could role through.

Mr Torchey
Right, has nothing to do with low position. my guesses for May bos +4.7 bdl +5.6 pvd +3.9 orh +4.2 Those are my pics, lets go, pick yours closest wins, save them somewhere, case of beer. I will attend the next gtg even though it will be ten hours away.

Of course, that will all be a function of front position, but at least some MCS activity could role through. If shear sucks the one thing I want to at least see in place is steep lapse rates. At least this way you can get some decent hailers. There will be a nice cold pool aloft (leading to those steep lapse rates) and cold pools can be fun. Plus even though the shear is weak the mean mid-level flow is like w/nw and in 2008 we had plenty of events with little shear but the flow was w/nw and those still always seemed to do something awesome. I remember several cells that became supercells and had good rotation for having not much shear in place.
