one of the KFS major modeling flaws is that it trends in direction of extreme's to a fault. in tending to make everything an extreme...it almost becomes the CWM (crying wolf model) ....it is suseptable to wild swings within 12 -18 hours of an event

outsiders have tried to update it's internal processing center but a firewall of guiness is deemed unpenetrable

Another fail.

It depends for SNE, though... Some sites did get to and below freezing for 3 hours overnight. Not a total bust. Also, the diurnals are skewing that to some preceivers I think... If you get up at 9 and start your day, you've missed the boat by a lot. 20F rises in the first 1.5 hours of sun up were common and one may not be aware that it was definitely a freeze event at a few sites, such as Orange and Norwood... Granted it wasn't "severe", no, but it did verify enough here and there.

not bad on wwlp's site

We set a new record low temperature Sunday morning and now we've set another record low of 24 degrees this morning! (Our old record was 28 set back in 1992.)

Hit 29ish in Taunton.

I think you guys misunderstood. I meant those highs.

Saturday looks like a Phil special..those days he loves where the coast torches over 80 on NW flow bhind front. while he misses out on the Thurs-Fri warmth that most of interior SNE sees

Big disparity between the GFS and Euro. Euro would be exactly what he hates. GFS actually hangs the front up over eastern MA with thunder.
