Unsettled cool weather ends April, what does May bring

It would be cool to see, but I probably have better odds winning powerball..lol. Feeling cold, putting on the heat and a winter coat is just annoying. I'll welcome it with open arms November through early April. But, it looks like June out there so it would be nice to have temps in the 60s-70s. I don't like heat. I want nothing else then to put winter behind and not see or think of snow anywhere until November. Things only can get better after this winter.

I completely understand...I also shouldn't get on a high horse either cause I know I'd feel the exact same way if it wasn't snowing. I'm just on a "snow high" right now from the early November scene out my window.

The one problem living here is that a lot of the snow is so localized that I can't really discuss it with people on here as much as other areas. It's not like if SNE woke up to a dusting to an inch there'd be 4 pages of posts on it. Its nice having that sense of sharing a weather event with others on here.

PF,all I can say is wow, nice pics, midwinter powdah flying off your skis. More off and on this w/e?. I noticed you said this was it for the year again. Maybe one more 5/4-5/6?

Haha well after today's skiing I may be done for the year...next week I'm flying out across the big pond for a month. Won't be around much in May, spending 17 days in Norway and also working around eastern Europe for another two weeks...will be back in early June. My way to deal with the end of the ski season blues, is to just leave.

It's awesome you guys have that phenomenon...I mean it's cool to see. But unfortunately it's pretty local and most of us are going to Home Depot today to buy plants and veggies..lol.

It was 35.6 when I left home, so maybe briefly snuck below 35F.

Have a great trip, thanks for all the pics this year and hopefully next year I can stop by and say hi if you are still working there.

Not that it means much, but BOX has 70's Wed-Fri in CT

If it's sunny and no clouds with light SE winds, maybe Wednesday has a shot in interior CT, but for most of SNE...just not sure it happens. But, Thursday and/or Friday might be a sneaky warm and humid day with some tstms if things work out right. I wouldn't mind a good tstm. I just hope one of those days works out, it may suck for BOS and I-90 on north. Wednesday could get to 70 or low 70s in the far interior, but far from summery.

Regardless..anything is better than this nonsense of yesterday and today..thankfully this is it until autumn

Hey dude I'll be there someday...trying to put off getting married for a while but someday I know I'll be spending Saturdays at Lowes while I watch the 20 something year olds all head to the mountain.

Oh no I don't mean me..lol. I'm at work. I just mean the general public is taking care of their yards and gearing up for summer. I don't do flowers...just fertilize and veggies.

Wife does the flowers.

Just back from an easy 13 miler....chilly with the wind, but not too bad.

The low on top of the mtn here was 33.0 exactly. Very few dropped below freezing. Ctsnowstom FTL

31.7 for the low here on my Davis along with surrounding reports. But yep I was wrong about tonight for you I'll man up... Hopefully you can appreciate when someone has the balls to admit it. Especially in this business I'm soon heading into.

Tonight has a chance for you too I think 31-33 again.

Yeah, but ct is essentially the mid-Atlantic. I thinking they're redistricting okx to incorporate the whole state. :)

I love spring in new england always fun to see how the interior is so warm, places like the pit back in march that roasted, absolutely roasted compared to the coastal plain

Mudvayne is great. I have that song Dig on my phone. I agree it makes you want to rip mailboxes out of the ground and throw them 50 yards.

LOL..Just a great band...did you see the tornado in that video the last minute or so lol..even wx related.

From 2:38 until the end that song is just mind blowing epicness..can't get enough

Trust me, if you don't man up and learn...you'll never be a good met. Step 1.
