Managed to freeze at the Pit, but not by too miuch. 30.5/20. Wonder if I'll get out of the 40's. P/C has me at 50, zfp in the upper 40's. zfp's work best for my highs. All forecasts suck on my overnight lows.

I was planning on cutting wood to size today. But, it might be a decent burn day. Decisions, decisions........

MVL reported light snow all night long... nice fluffy white dusting out there on all surfaces this morning even down here in town near 800ft.

Upslope machine in the Mansfield region has kept our snow going all night long. Long live winter.

Low reflectivity, high ratio snow... the classic upslope cotton ball fluff right now falling from the sky.

Managed to bottom out at 26.5F (around 6:30am) down here in the lowlands.

Nice to have a few more woodstove nights/mornings.

Feels like November...no snowpack but a dry fluffy dusting drifting around in the stiff NW winds. Temps in the 20s and the ground feels like it flash froze...very firm dirt.

But man do I love snow. Another snow globe morning with flakes falling is just what the doctor ordered on April 28th. Some of you need to give up the warmth and torch beat for a day or two and enjoy tgis beautiful cold. Another ski day is upon us, just need to wait for the wind chill to get above zero up there.

Hey I don't live at 3k either...the ground is white and I'm drinking coffee watching dendrites fall slowly in snow globe fashion. All at a comfortable elevation below 1000ft.

You know if you woke up to a half inch dusting with flakes flying you'd think the cold is neat for a little bit. Blizz would love to run through this stuff.

It would be cool to see, but I probably have better odds winning powerball..lol. Feeling cold, putting on the heat and a winter coat is just annoying. I'll welcome it with open arms November through early April. But, it looks like June out there so it would be nice to have temps in the 60s-70s. I don't like heat. I want nothing else then to put winter behind and not see or think of snow anywhere until November. Things only can get better after this winter.
